Tonight

Clearly both of our dearly loved and super fantastic girls have long long-overdue updates coming their way but in the meantime...

Vivian, whose profound adorableness continues unabated, tonight cried hysterically when faced with the possibility of not having her bottle (which she only remembered she wanted at around 7:45). Clearly I am setting that girl up for a future trouble because she is certainly learning that crying is the way to get her way. I looked at that little sad face and agreed to give her a bottle. I poured almond milk into the pot, heated it, poured it into the bottle. She took a sip and said, with disappointment, "This isn't how Grandma Helainecantor makes it". Mom, please send recipe!

She has also started reading her books herself and so we choose books she knows at night. If there is one she doesnt really know, she'll tell me to read that one and then she'll read the rest. Tonight, though we chose all books she knows, she -- out of nowhere-- started reading them in gibberish (cracking herself up). I didn't even know she was bilingual.
